Résumé de l'étude
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a decision support tool for the treatment of menstrual cycle disorders or contraception in adolescents and young adults. Half of the recruited gynecologists will use this tool during consultations with their patients. The other half of the recruited gynecologists will conduct their consultations as usual, without access to the tool. Our primary measure will be decision conflict (that is, how determined and comfortable patients are with their treatment choice) immediately after the consultation. We will also measure patient and physician satisfaction, the sense of shared decision-making by patients, patient knowledge, and the treatment choice made.
