Effectiveness and Feasibility of the Physical Activity Counseling Program Offered at the Center for Movement Counseling (ZBB) – A Pilot Study
Résumé de l'étude
The increasing prevalence of physical inactivity in Western societies has led to the promotion of physical activity becoming an important area of public health promotion. The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness and feasibility of a physical activity counseling program offered at the Center for Movement Counseling (ZBB) at the University of Basel. The ZBB serves both as a service offering for the population and as a translational research center where the findings of its own research are applied directly in practice. The pilot study is designed as a pre-post-test study (without a control group). A total of 60 participants will provide data on their physical activity behavior and motivation through an online questionnaire three times (baseline, 6 weeks after the end of the intervention, 6 months after the intervention). Post-intervention, information on participants' satisfaction with the program will also be collected. The data will help verify the effectiveness of the counseling program and provide insights into participants' perceptions. The findings can assist in optimizing the program and tailoring it to the needs of the participants.
