Summary description of the study
Vous souffrez de surdité ou d'une perte auditive sévère et portez donc un implant cochléaire pour vous aider à entendre à nouveau. C'est pourquoi nous vous demandons si vous souhaiteriez participer à cette étude. Un implant cochléaire est utilisé lorsque l'audition naturelle n'est plus possible. Il est conçu pour vous aider à percevoir à nouveau les sons et la parole. Dans cette étude, nous cherchons à déterminer si l'implant cochléaire activé affecte également votre capacité à vous orienter dans l'espace, par exemple, votre capacité à vous repérer dans un environnement. Certains utilisateurs d'implants cochléaires rapportent qu'ils s'orientent mieux lorsque l'implant est activé. Nous souhaitons étudier ce phénomène scientifiquement.
