The FOPH does not carry out any trials itself or act as an intermediary between participants and researchers. However, you can use the study search tool to look for clinical trials. If you are interested in a particular trial, you can get in touch with the designated contact person to find out more about it. 
If you have a particular disease, we recommend that you speak to your doctor directly to obtain more information.

In general, no payments are made for participation in a clinical trial. As a healthy volunteer, you will be compensated for any costs arising from your participation in a clinical trial, provided that you do not obtain any direct benefit.

The results of completed trials can be viewed using the study search tool. Results are published in the form of a brief summary, written in lay-friendly language. However, it may take up to a year after the end of a study for the results to be published.
