Where can I find information on ongoing or completed clinical studies?

Patients, relatives, researchers and other interested parties should be able to obtain information on clinical studies.

For this reason, the FOPH provides a study search tool on this website. Here you can find information on all ongoing or completed clinical studies conducted in Switzerland. In addition, you can also find less comprehensive information on clinical studies conducted in neighbouring countries.

The study search tool can be used, for example, for the following purposes:

• You are looking for an ongoing clinical study concerning a specific disease, as you would like to find out more about it or participate in it.
• You are looking for the results of a completed clinical study.

Please note: The study search does not provide any information on observational studies or projects involving existing data or samples, as these are not subject to publication requirements.
