Assunzione di probiotici con batteri Streptococcus salivarius K12: colonizzazione della cavità orale, effetti sulla flora orale e valori infiammatori orali
Summary description of the study
I probiotici contengono microrganismi vivi che dovrebbero apportare benefici per la salute. Le compresse da succhiare BIOTICS-O di Burgerstein contengono batteri vivi Streptococcus salivarius BLIS® K12 e dovrebbero supportare in modo ottimale la flora orale e faringea. In questo studio pilota viene esaminato l'effetto di BIOTICS-O. 12 soggetti sani consumeranno quotidianamente una compressa da succhiare per 4 settimane. I campioni di saliva e placca dentale verranno analizzati prima, durante e dopo la fase di trattamento. La domanda principale è se i batteri probiotici Streptococcus salivarius BLIS® K12 possano colonizzare la cavità orale e se possano influenzare la composizione della flora orale. Inoltre, la saliva dei partecipanti sarà analizzata per i marcatori infiammatori, al fine di misurare un possibile effetto sul sistema immunitario. Questo studio pilota valuterà l'impatto di BIOTICS-O sulla salute orale.

- Persone adulte sane (> 18 anni) - Nessuna carie non trattata o malattia parodontale attiva (BASEC)
Exclusion criteria
- Assunzione di farmaci antinfiammatori, sostanze antimicrobiche e probiotici nelle ultime 4 settimane (BASEC)
