Magnetic Stimulation on the Tesla Chair for Pain Treatment in Endometriosis
Summary description of the study
Many women with endometriosis still experience pain despite surgical and medication therapy. Over-the-counter pain relievers usually help to alleviate this. However, for some patients, these medications eventually become ineffective. Pain then dictates daily life. In this study, we investigate how magnetic stimulation using the 'Tesla Chair' works and whether it can alleviate your pain.

Intervention under investigation
Magnetic stimulation uses magnetic fields to non-invasively stimulate the central and peripheral nervous system, thereby increasing the activity of enzymes that promote the breakdown of pain-inducing substances. Repeated magnetic stimulation sessions of the pelvic floor may temporarily or permanently alleviate symptoms in patients with chronic pelvic pain.
