Treatment of Patients at High Risk of Psychosis Using Mentalization-Based Therapies. MBT-Psychosis.
Summary description of the study
In this study, we would like to evaluate the effectiveness of Mentalization-Based Therapies (MBT) combined with needs-based clinical interventions (NBCI). NBCIs are the interventions that are always offered to all patients we follow who are experiencing potentially distressing or surprising experiences ('attenuated psychotic symptoms'). In this study, we want to see if Mentalization-Based Therapies coupled with NBCI provide more benefits for patients compared to patients who only receive basic clinical interventions (the NBCI).
