Study comparing two different methods for maintaining implant health: comprehensive oral & written oral hygiene instructions versus traditional oral instructions
Summary description of the study
During implant check-ups, hygiene instructions are typically conveyed orally during personal meetings. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of more comprehensive instructions using an information package with images and written notes. This material will contain specific information not only about general oral hygiene but also about more effective methods for cleaning your implant. Furthermore, we intend to provide detailed guidance on potential conditions that may affect your implant and clarify all necessary measures you can take to prevent these. The specially designed information material for this purpose will be provided to you so that you can take it home, serving as an ongoing source of information.

Intervention under investigation
In this study, we would like to investigate whether more comprehensive oral hygiene instructions can lead to better peri-implant health (area around the implant).
