Translation and validation of the Shoulder Instability Return to Sports Index (SIRSI) and Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia (TSK-SI) into the English language
Summary description of the study
To return to sports after shoulder instability, it requires not only a functioning joint but also the psychological prerequisites to participate in sports (e.g., trust, little worry or fear). The Shoulder Instability Return to Sports Index (SIRSI) questionnaire assesses this willingness. The Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia Shoulder Instability (TSK-SI) assesses movement fear in shoulder instability. Unfortunately, there are currently no English versions. Therefore, we would like to translate and evaluate these questionnaires from German into English so that they can be used in the future in English-speaking areas.
