Statistics on Human Research

The statistical report “Human Research in Switzerland 2024” is now available.

It provides an overview of biomedical research conducted in Switzerland in 2024 under the Human Research Act. The data are sourced from the BASEC system, managed by the umbrella organization of the research ethics committees (swissethics).
