Study of a Digital Ultra-Short Intervention During the Waiting Period for Psychotherapy (OPTIBRIEF)
Résumé de l'étude
The OPTIBRIEF study investigates different variants of a digital ultra-short intervention (UKADO) during the waiting period for psychotherapy. After completing an initial questionnaire and participating in a diagnostic interview, participants are randomly assigned to one of 8 groups and work on a specific version of UKADO. The program can be completed in a session of about 60 minutes, after which exercises should continue to be used. After working with the program, participants fill out a questionnaire again at 5 specific time points over a period of six months. They also participate in another phone appointment. With the OPTIBRIEF study, we aim to investigate which variant of the program is most suitable for individuals waiting for a psychotherapy slot. We examine, among other things, the impact on symptoms of anxiety disorders and depressive disorders, as well as aspects such as experiences with the program.

Intervention étudiée
We investigate different variants of the digital program UKADO. UKADO is a digital ultra-short intervention. This means that the main part of the program can be completed in a session lasting about one hour. The program is used during the waiting period for psychotherapy. It mainly includes text elements, images, video elements, and exercises.

Maladie en cours d'investigation
Anxiety disorders and depressive disorders
(BASEC)
Individuals can participate if they are currently waiting for a psychotherapy slot. Furthermore, participants suffer from an anxiety disorder and/or depressive disorder and are over 18 years old. (BASEC)
Critères d'exclusion
Individuals cannot participate if they are already in psychotherapy or if their start date for psychotherapy falls within 14 days after the group assignment of the study. Additionally, individuals cannot participate if they are in an acute mental health crisis. Digital interventions like UKADO are not suitable for crisis situations. (BASEC)
